Back in Madison, an unexpected trip this time. My brother-in-law has been admitted to the hospital four times since late June with intestinal problems that the doctors can't seem to figure out correctly. My sister is exhausted, physically and mentally, so even though I can't really afford it, I booked a ticket out here to help. She's my baby sister, how could I not?
They seem to be making progress on the hospital front, which is great. Hopefully he'll be coming home today or tomorrow. In the meantime, I'm on Kalilah duty, which is the best kind of duty to be on! That little girl lights up my world, no question.
No pictures to post this time, just the update. I realize I have been horribly lax about maintaining this blog, which I have no excuse for. I'd like to make a small promise, in a whisper really, that I will try my hardest to be better about it. :)
