This One Time? In Wisconsin?

I present to you a photographic journey through the wettest yet best Wisconsin vacation yet:

My sister and I with our godmothers, Aunt J and Aunt J. And of course, the baby. The wonderful, adorable, sweet, sweet baby.

I framed this one. And about 28 *other* ones, too. God, I'm SO that aunt.

One of my sister's all time favorite movies EVER is Dirty Dancing. Being able to put this shirt on her own child brings an endless amount of chuckling satisfaction.

Another installment of "Fun with Cameras and Mirrors!"

The ever-fabulous Justine and I at the ever-fabulous Terrace.

Of course.

Charley, my sister's FIRST baby girl, chillin' in the sandbox.

Supermama RYAN! (I blame her personally for about 10 of the 662 lbs I gained during this vacation...that banana chocolate chip bread was to die for!)

Gosh...I haven't been around long, but I'll tell ya what--that Aunt Alex sure is something else...I hope I grow up to be JUST LIKE HER...

Castles! In downtown Madison!

Awwwwwww.

I surrender! Just me sleep!

(JUST KIDDING.)

One, two, three, floor. (Subtitle: How to Kiss Strangers In Bars)

"And it's good, good to be back home..how I missed this time zone... strangers, they're exciting, their mystery never ends...but there's nothing like looking at your own history, in the faces of your friends..."

My homegirl, Rae.

The Alexes.

Good old fashioned Wisconsin debauchery. Gotta love it.

Oldie but goody.

She is a thread that has been pulled in and out of my life at so many stages, so many ages, bringing light, laughter and perspective at every impasse, that I cannot help but believe we are meant to be lifelong friends.

This woman truly exemplifies the spirit of god, and seeing her after all these years was like a calming breeze settling over me. Ang, I can't tell you how much I thrived on your energy. Thank you for sharing it with me...

Tug-o-war!

This side won.

It was wet. Very wet. Everywhere.

Grey day.

I shit you not--this caramel covered apple pie baked in a paper bag is one of THE most delicious things ever to exist. I practically wept after my first bite, it was THAT GOOD.

So Mad! (So Funny!)
